With so many different video formats to choose from it can be challenging to move content between formats to adapt to changing workflows. The Vela Rack SDI supports all of the most popular live streaming and transport codecs, including High-Bandwidth (Full) NDI, NDI|HX3, RTMP, RTSP, SRT, and more.

With its complement of SDI, HDMI, fiber, USB, audio, and Ethernet connections, there's little that the Vela Rack SDI can't handle.

For instance, ingest 12G-SDI up to 4Kp60, encode to NDI, streaming RTMP to your website, monitor on the built-in LCD screen and HDMI output, transmit the signal to another location with the SFP+ fiber port, and monitor the audio with a headset.

Record It All

Vela's bright and colorful 3.4" touch-screen display flips up to reveal a slot to install the optional C1 SSD carrier. Simply install any M.2 NVMe SSD up to 2TB in capacity and Vela can record any input signal, even while encoding or decoding at the same time.

Rack It Up!

Not only is the Vela Rack SDI a convenient and portable desktop media converter, but with the Vela Shelf rack-mount accessory you can line upthree units in a single 1U rack space. The Vela Shelf provides a single power supply for up to three Vela unit, as well as integrated cooling. Unused slots can be filled with panels for a professional-looking setup.
